SAP BI Project Course Curriculum
 
Course Objective:
 
-          Help students get ready for SAP BI project implementation.
-          Gain true project experience by utilizing the skills learned from training material and classroom in a real SAP BI project
 
Prerequisite for this course:
 
All attendees must have basic SAP BI knowledge. It is strongly recommended all attendees have completed the SAP BI regular training course or have learned SAP BI on his/her own before taking this course.
 
What You Will Learn:
 
-          Understand SAP ASAP methodology and actual activities in each phase
-          Learn how to transform a business requirements to physical design in SAP BI7
-          Learn how to write blue print
-          Learn how to implement data model in BI7
-          Learn how extract data from R3 CO-CCA and PS module into BI
-          Learn how to write ABAP routines in BI7 transformation and start/end routines.
-          Learn how to make R3 extractor enhancement in BI7
-          Learn how to customize web reports in SAP BI7 WAD and Report Designer
-          Learn how to build exit type variables in BI7
-          Learn how to transport your configuration from development server to production server
-          Learn how to prepare cut-over and test documents/scripts
-          Learn how to design BI authorization for BI reports.
-          Learn debugging and trouble shooting skills
 
Course Content:
Day 1:    SAP ASAP methodology
Day 2:    Business requirements analysis
Day 3:    Data modeling and design work shop
Day 4:    Implement data model
Day 5:    R3 master data extraction and write customer exit to enhance business content
Day 6:    R3 transaction data extraction. (CO-CCA and PS)
Day 7:    Load transaction data from flat files into DSO and infoCubes
Day 8:    Implement process chain to automate data load
Day 9:    Create queries in SAP BI7 Query Designer and write Exit type variables
Day 10: Customize web reports in BI7 Web Application Designer (WAD)
Day 11: Customize web reports using SAP BI7 Report Designer
Day 12: SAP BI authorization design and SAP transport preparation
Day 13: Deployment and Testing.
